Speaker: Dr. Vince Drnevich
|
|
Dr. Drnevich is a Civil Engineering professor at Purdue University - West Lafayette where his research has focused on the engineering properties of soils and concrete. He has been recognized for his teaching and research with national awards from the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Society for Testing and Materials, the American Society for Engineering Education, and Chi Epsilon. He is the Past President of the Indiana Society of Professional Engineers. He was recently appointed to the Indiana Board of Registration for Engineers by Governor Mitch Daniels.

Many states currently require continuing education credits for licensed engineers. Indiana is considering legislation requiring Indiana engineers to do the same and Mr. Drnevich is prepared to discuss this legislation with those in attendance.
